Snow Removal in Old North, London

Seasonal snow removal in Old North

Thames Valley Snow clears driveways, walkways and small lots in Old North, the established neighbourhood north of downtown London roughly between Oxford Street and Huron Street, from Richmond Street east toward Adelaide Street. Old North has narrow lots, mature trees, older single and shared driveways and plenty of street parking, so the City plow often leaves a heavy windrow across the end of the driveway.

With a seasonal contract (December 1 to March 31) your driveway is cleared automatically after every snowfall of 5 cm or more. You never have to call, we come back during long storms, and we clear the windrow the City plow leaves at the end of your driveway.

Choosing the right plan for your Old North home

Most Old North homeowners choose a seasonal contract: one fixed price for the season, with visits triggered automatically at 5 cm. If you only want help in bigger storms, or you're away for part of the winter, per-visit service is $70-$85 + HST per visit.

If you have a walk to the front door or steps, add walkway and steps (from $150; a walk with up to 6 steps is $175, and a sidewalk is $90). Seasonal salting is $175 and includes freezing rain and refreeze visits, and pet-safe de-icer is $120 if you have dogs. If you need the drive open early for work, priority early-morning clearing is $125. All prices are + HST.

Want coverage from November 1 to April 15 instead of December 1 to March 31? The season extension is +$95. Seniors and front-line workers save 5% on any seasonal contract.
