Anyone whose driveway, walk or steps turn to ice after a plow visit or a freezing-rain night: families, seniors living alone, landlords, and businesses with customer entrances. If you have pets, stamped concrete or pavers, the pet-safe premium de-icer is the better choice.

How it works with your snow contract
Salting is added to a seasonal snow removal contract. Your driveway is cleared automatically every snowfall of 5 cm or more, and salt goes down as part of the same plan, with extra visits for freezing rain and refreeze. Quotes are measured from City of London maps and aerial imagery, with a fixed price in 1 business day. Learn more on how it works.
Payment is simple: a 30% deposit books your spot and the balance is due before December 1. We accept cash, cheque, Interac e-transfer to sales@thamesvalleysnow.ca, or card. Quotes are measured from City of London maps and aerial imagery, and you get a fixed price within 1 business day.
Rock salt or premium de-icer?
Seasonal salt at $175 + HST is the straightforward choice for most asphalt driveways and walks. The premium de-icer at $120 + HST is the add-on to ask for near stamped concrete, pavers or interlock, and it is pet-safe on request. Not sure which fits your property? Mention your surface and pets when you request a quote and we will price the right option. Seniors and front-line workers get 5% off seasonal contracts, and the season can be extended from November 1 to April 15 for +$95 + HST.

Do you come for freezing rain if it has not snowed?
Yes. Seasonal salt includes freezing rain and refreeze visits.
Is your de-icer safe for my dog?
Our premium de-icer ($120 + HST) is pet-safe on request. Tell us when you book.

How much snow before you come?
